And now Bollywood star Priyanka Chopra is all excited about the possibility of her entering the record books for doing 12 roles in forthcoming "What's Your Raashee"."I was aware about Sanjeev Kumar playing nine roles in 'Naya Din Nayi Raat' and Kamal Haasan being seen 10 times over in 'Dashavatharam'. However, even I got to know about Lupino Lane's achievement very recently. Hats off to him to have done that eight decades back and that too in a silent film, " Priyanka told.In Ashutosh Gowariker's "What's Your Raashee", she plays 12 different roles and the film has already been referred to the Guinness Book of World Records.While there have been quite a few double role performances by leading ladies in the past, there aren't many movies where a Bollywood actress has played even a triple role, let aside coming close to enacting a dozen-odd characters in a single outing."Yes, I have been told about this. I guess not just in India but even in world cinema no woman has ever played 12 different characters in the film. In fact, the producers of 'What's Your Raashee' have got in touch with the Guinness Book of World Records and we are awaiting their response, " said Priyanka.If one goes down the memory lane, one can comfortably say that with "What's Your Raashee?", Priyanka may well boast of doing the biggest ever film written for a woman protagonist in the history of Indian cinema."Please don't make it all sound so big and heavy. Let's just look at it as an entertaining movie and leave it there. Words like 'greatest' and 'biggest' don't hold much relevance if one doesn't justify each of the characters. You may win when it comes to count but then you must also be able to put some weight in your performance, " she said.
So was she overjoyed when Gowariker approached her for the role? "Not at all. In fact I was quite nervous about how I would manage to pull it off. A role may look fantastic on paper and you too may feel confident of pulling it off. Still, you have to be extra careful to make sure that audiences too like what you bring to the table, " said Priyanka, who has given three consecutive hits - "Dostana", "Fashion" and "Kaminey".This was the reason why she stayed away from all the limelight while shooting for 'What's Your Raashee?' and her look for each of the characters too was kept under wraps."You end up picking on all the flattery around you but none of that helps in what comes across on screen", she said. "'What's Your Raashee?' has such a fantastic script written with each of the 12 roles boasting of such well-etched characterisation. "I had to go all out in following Ashutosh's vision. With the coming together of a great production house, an intelligent director, a fantastic co-star and some melodious music, it all seems to have summed up well. Now that the mathematics part has gone well, it is time to see how audiences react to our effort." "What's Your Raashee?" is set to release Sep 25.

Director Sudipto Chattopadhyay didn’t want the Censor Board chopping off the part where Bipasha Basu says the ‘F’ word in the film Pankh, even if it meant the film would get an A certificate. Bipasha says the word twice in the film and Sudipto was very sure that he didn’t want the Board either deleting the word or beeping it. Some of the other characters in the film use foul language too, but those parts have been beeped. He just didn’t want Bipasha’s part to get deleted because in that scene she has a fight with Maradona, whom she stars opposite. She supports as well as opposes him in the film. The dialogue is apparently relevant in the film.

- Executors of Michael Jackson's estate said the late pop star had provided full financial support to his mother when he was alive and his estate should continue to do so after his death, The Los Angeles has reported.
The daily newspaper said on Sunday that in court papers filed on Thursday, the administrators of the estate asked for approval to pay a monthly allowance to Katherine Jackson, 79.
The specific amount requested was not disclosed, the report said.

But little did the celebrity couple know about this nanny’s personal agenda on their London trip.“Ever since she joined us she worked efficiently and patiently with Arhaan, his previous nanny had to leave the job because of health reasons, I always felt whether my son would ever be able to adjust to his new nanny, as his previous one was there since he was 4 months old.But to our surprise Arhaan had taken well to her and she loved taking care of him as well. This new nanny’s name is Jackin Fernandes and she hails from Belgaum in Karnataka, she’s married has a 6 year old daughter.Her husband Raymond Fernandes works as a welder cum fabricator in Dubai since last 10 years. Jackin, in the last one year has travelled with us to a number of places including Dubai and Singapore. This time we took her along with us to London too, we began to trust her completely, only for her to shatter all our faith and trust in her in one second.” Arbaaz recalls in his blog update.He continues, “Just two days before Malaika was returning, Jackin was with the kids in a nearby park, she was also entrusted with the apartment keys. When Malaika went to the apartment to check, there was nobody there, Jackin’s phone was lying on the ground and she was nowhere in sight. Malaika panicked. She noticed Jackin’s suitcase was also not there; her passport had been kept with us safely in another bag under lock and key. When she opened the bag she saw Jackin’s passport missing, it soon became evident that Jackin had left. There were valuables and some money too lying in the bag but she stole nothing, all she wanted to do is get away and she had meticulously planned it. My maid is not the first one to vanish in London, apparently even Karisma Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan and recently Juhi Chawla also faced a similar situation, each of these maids left without a trace. It obviously seems to be modus operandi of these people to use the opportunity to believe they have a better life in a foreign country, but at what risk. Since Jackin was given a visa because we sponsored her visit, we had to inform the police of the happening. Unfortunately this illegal immigrant situation is rampant in London. We have provided all the necessary details to the authorities, if she ever gets tracked down she will surely be deported, but I guess not before she has worked there long enough and made the money she desired. She was a good worker and took great care of Arhaan as long as she was there.”“Though Malaika and me are upset with what happened we still wish her well and hope she’s safe and happy where ever she is.” Arbaaz concludes.

His family home on Bandra Bandstand has been under renovation for some months now, with no sign of completion yet.
