French actress Audrey Tautou says stepping into the clothes of fashion icon Coco Chanel was a challenge - because she was a compulsive liar.The star of Amelie plays the famous designer in new biopic Coco Before Chanel but it seems cutting through all the myths was something of a problem.
'She was a liar, so it's difficult to know who she was before she became famous and had some success,' Tautou told Sky News.
'She didn't want to talk about her youth, I don't know why, maybe she was ashamed or maybe she didn't want people to feel pity for her because she came from a poor family.
